<p>James Bryant has been a practicing principal architect for over 35 years, and has lived in the Seattle area since 1971.  He served his internship in the offices of John Lautner FAIA, and also A. Quincy Jones FAIA, both of Los Angeles, California.</p>
<p>More recently, in addition to his own practice, he has served other architects as a consultant in the areas of design and project management. An extensive summary of his professional career and list of projects can be found in the resume section of this website.</p>
<p>The work illustrated on this website is not confined to one particular style, but is rooted in the historic principles of design and proportion which can unify and bring coherence to any stylistic expression.</p>
<p>The buildings herein are the result of each client’s particular needs, desires, and programmatic requirements and are the architect’s expression of those elements particular to each client.</p>
<p>All the talk about architect’s mission statements, artistic statements, passion, excellence, budget responsibility and so on should properly be subordinate to and an outgrowth of serving the client.</p>
